Michael Chandler vs. Dan Hooker is scheduled to take place at UFC 257

According to the representatives, both boxers have entered the training period to be ready for the UFC 257 event.

According to the representative of two boxers, both Dan Hooker (20 wins – 9 lost to MMA) and Michael Chandler (21 wins – 5 losses to MMA) all agreed to appear at UFC 257 and have entered the training period for a while.

It is expected that the UFC will make an official announcement in the next few days on the addition of the match to the breakfast event on January 24 next year. If officially happens, the match Michael Chandler vs. Dan Hooker will increase the attractiveness of UFC 257 next to the leading match Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier.

Having joined the UFC in October, former light king Michael Chandler has not been able to find a competitor to launch the tournament since the reserve match for Khabib vs. Gaethje at UFC 254.  For this reason, Dan Hooker proactively sent an invitation to Chandler. This Australian boxer hopes to score points with a win, since his defeat against Dustin Poirier last June.

Ben Askren vs. Jake Paul on March 28, 2021

According to information from Chael Sonnen’s Twitter, Ben Askren decided to fight boxing with Jake Paul on March 28 to teach a lesson to the arrogant Youtuber. After an easy victory over Nate Robinson at the end of last month, the puncher cum YouTuber Jake Paul used countless different tricks to lure Conor McGregor to take the match. The arrogant challenges of Youtuber Jake Paul were not interested in Conor McGregor.

However, when the former UFC champion has not yet spoken, Jake’s applause has made many characters with cheeks in the martial arts uncomfortable and a series of war declarations have been sent to the 21-year-old puncher. In which Ben Askren, former UFC boxer is also quite itchy and wants to go to Jake Paul.

Ben Askren retired from MMA in November 2019 after losing to Demian Maia. However, Jake’s arrogance made Askren hot blood and want to return. Although his forte is not boxing, the 36-year-old former boxer is still confident to defeat Jake.

Former Bellator and ONE welterweight champions have a record of 19 wins – 2 losses – 1 no results on the MMA. His two defeats took place at the UFC against Jorge Masvidal and Demian Maia. Notably, Askren was knocked out by Jorge Masvidal in just 5 seconds at the UFC 239 event with a flying pillow.
